Extended Medicine Fern-Akademie – Therapeutische Verfahren

Therapeutic Procedures

Overview of the department

In this department, we have located interesting individual therapies that either already have their fixed place in modern medicine as therapeutic procedures such as acupuncture, which can even be obtained by patients as a health insurance benefit, magnetic therapy, but also procedures that will gain importance as individual therapies in the future such as aromatherapy or various manual practices, which are also referred to as holistic body therapies and therefore have an effect on the whole organism.

Acupuncture

This department is still under construction. If you are interested in further training in acupuncture, we would like to refer you to the Mind & Body Therapy b David Corbywhich you can find out about here in the “TCM” section.

If you are interested in classical acupuncture training, please send us an email here. We will inform you immediately when this service is available.

Aromatherapy

We have not yet developed our own course on the therapeutic use of scents, this is still in progress. But there are freely available findings on the significance of scents. One of the world’s leading specialists is Prof. Dr. Dr. med. habil. Hanns Hatt, Ruhr University Bochum.

About him

Hanns Hatt was born in Illertissen in 1947. He first studied biology and chemistry at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, graduated in 1972 with the state examination and then wrote his doctoral thesis. In 1975 he began studying medicine at the same time. In 1976, Hatt was awarded a doctorate in zoology, and in 1981 he received his licence to practise medicine. Two years later, he also received his doctorate in medicine, followed by his habilitation in physiology in 1984. After a professorship at the Technical University of Munich, he has been Professor of Cell Physiology at the Ruhr University of Bochum since 1992. Since 2015, he has been President of the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities.

Medications

This category includes drugs and active substances that are often not known because they do not interest the pharmaceutical industry. In each case, the lack of interest has exclusively economic reasons, be it because patents have expired or because no great profits can be made with the respective active ingredient. As a network, we are interested in effects, not profits. That is why we have decided to make these neglected active substances a topic of their own.

If you would like more information about the medications, please send us a short e-mail with your request via the following link:

Dr. Dr. Matthias Trennheuser: Basics of phytotherapy

Dr_Trennheuserpharmacist Dr. Dr. Trennheuser very comprehensively and clearly conveys the different mechanisms of action using the example of the arachidonic acid cycle and its influence by monopreparations and herbal active substances. Using the example of willow bark with its almost 50,000 different active substances and the monopreparation extracted from the willow, acetylsalicylic acid, he shows very clearly how, on the one hand, the enzyme cascade is maintained in diseases by treatment with a willow bark decoction and, on the other hand, the cascade is interrupted in the case of the monopreparation. This interruption is a symptom treatment that does not treat the disease itself and in many cases leads to the immune system not mobilising the necessary defences.

Here is a short introduction free of charge:

Price of the course: 55,00 € or 45,00 € for NETWORK-Globalhealth members

StressControl

StressControl is a herbal preparation developed by Dr. Dr. Trennheuser that can be used very well for stress, insomnia or burnout. Dr. Trennheuser has incorporated active ingredients that act on different structures of the body through a so-called multi-target principle. When researching the active ingredients, he used independent Cochrane studies wherever possible in order to create the best possible preparation.

AllergieControl

Similar to StressControl, Dr. Dr. Trennheuser has made a point of selecting study-supported and high-quality active ingredients in the composition of his formula in order to be able to offer allergy sufferers an allergy-inhibiting mule target food supplement that nevertheless regulates the immune response while forgoing the side effects of conventional medicines (e.g. fatigue). In addition to herbal active ingredients, two special types of fungi and two bacterial cultures are used here..
