Globalhealth Academy for Aesthetic Medicine
Globalhealth Academy offers training in minimally invasive therapies with new approaches for licensed physicians. The certifications of the continuing medical education courses are applied for at the respective competent medical association. A full-day course usually receives 10 continuing education points.
The following workshops have been conceptualized so far:
- An anatomy course in cooperation with Prof. Sebastian Cotofana, USA
- Compositional aesthetics of the face
- Injection lipolysis for beginners and advanced practitioners
- Therapies for the treatment of the skin surface and hair loss: mesotherapy, needling, platelet rich plasma therapy (PRP)
- Botulinum toxin A for beginners and advanced practitioners
- Scar treatment
- Filler for beginners and advanced practitioners
- Carboxy therapy
- The Vita-Balance Cure of the NETWORK-CRT
- Thread Lift
- Numerous current training courses at the SUMMER ACADEMY
Globalhealth Academy for Aesthetic Medicine
- Commits only internationally recognized experts
- Is neutral towards corporate interests
- Conveys objective content
- The course contents are didactically prepared
Faculty of Lipolysis
The Faculty of Lipolysis deals with all non- and minimally invasive therapies for the reduction of smaller fat deposits, in particular with injection lipolysis. Since its foundation in 2003 as NETWROK-Lipolysis it has significantly developed and standardized injection lipolysis therapy.
- In 2004 a first treatment protocol was presented, developed by MR Dr. Hasengschwandtner, former medical director and, after his retirement, honorary president of the NETWORK. The first Lipolysis Report, a statistical evaluation of 183 patients, was published on our (former) homepage.
- In 2005 a compound was developed that caused improved efficacy while reducing side effects.
- In 2006 cooperation agreements were entered with the universities of Bochum and Regensburg, which conducted studies on efficacy, mechanism of action and dosage. This cooperation resulted in numerous scientific publications by these two universities.
- In 2007 the new indication of skin tightening was included in the treatment scheme. The NETWORK trained the thousandth colleague in the use of injection lipolysis.
- In 2009 the compound’s composition was de novo revised and optimized based on scientific results.
- In 2010 a pain and side effect management system for injection lipolysis was developed for the first time helping to reduce side effects.
- In 2011 the second Lipolysis Report based on 34.000 treatments was statistically evaluated (published in the journal Kosmetische Medizin).
- In 2012 NETWORK-Globalhealth was granted an organ of the journal Kosmetische Medizin.
- In 2013 the NETWORK investigated the combination therapy of injection lipolysis and local dynamic micro massage ultrasound.
- In 2014 the demand for injection lipolysis treatment grew by 721%.
- In 2015 Dr MargritLettko was appointed as the new medical director of the of the Lipolysis faculty.
- In 20216 the third Lipolysis Report based on more than 74.000 treatments was published and the facial treatment was refined.
Faculty of AestheticMeso
The Faculty of AestheticMeso focuses on the development of standardized protocols and formulations for aesthetic mesotherapy. Its goals are to simplify treatment procedures, to focus on aesthetic mesotherapy, to improve the study situation, to demystify mesotherapy and to make results comparable in view of international therapy standards.
Since its foundation in 2006 it has undergone and initiated the following development:
Initially aesthetic indications were defined. At the moment there exist protocols for vitality, appearance and tightening of the skin (MesoLift), hair loss (MesoHair) and in combination with injection lipolysis cellulite treatments (MesoCellu). Other aesthetic indications are drawn up.
Formulations were tested and developed based on its members know-how and existing studies for defined indications.
Since 2010 the NETWORK offers ready-made mixtures that supersede own compounds and thus revolutionize the treatment process.
A didactically prepared workshop concept was designed in which certified trainers pass on the developed standards to colleagues worldwide.
Faculty of Keloid
The Faculty of Keloid has been pursuing the introduction of the Intralesional Cryosurgery (IC) for the treatment of keloids since 2012 – in the interest of many patients who have already endured all the recommended keloid therapies. With over 50% the recurrence rate of conservative therapies is extremely high compared to other therapies. Compared to this intralesional cryosurgery has a recurrence rate of only 5-7% for many types of keloids.
Faculty of PRP
The Faculty of PRP, whose organizational structure was developed in 2016, devises standardized protocols for the treatment of aesthetic indications with Platelet Rich Plasma therapy.
Over the past few years, the therapy with the buffy coat of blood plasma enriched with many growth factors has become well known under the catchword vampire lifting.
Skin status improvements can successfully be performed with PRP therapy. The treatment of hair loss also shows very good results, which several studies have demonstrated over the years.
Especially in combination with micro needling and mesotherapy it has proved as a gentle procedure with excellent results.
Faculty of Thread Lift
The Faculty of Thread Lift has developed standardized protocols for the use of dissolvable threads since 2016, which show excellent long-term results, especially in cases of loss of elasticity.
One of our primary missions is intensive training is this therapy, particularly to protect patients and of course our members from complications.
We also place special emphasis on investigating the quality of dissolvable thread materials (PDO, PLLA) from different manufactures.
Therefore, we have designed a three-part training system consisting of anatomy, theory and demonstration, and hands-on training.
Faculty of CRT
The Cell Rejuvenation Therapy was developed by our members as a new type of therapy. During the term of its development, it focuses on restructuring and flexibilization of cell membranes as a new pillar of anti-aging medicine. By intravenous administration of polyenylphosphatidylcholin (PPC), lecithin is supplied to the cells and serves as a membrane therapeutic agent.
The Cell Rejuvenation Therapy can be used for
- Cell membrane regeneration
- The treatment of specific diseases of old age as well as diseases of the liver, heart disease, atherosclerosis, gall bladder disease, to support cancer therapy and many other disease patterns
- Detoxification of organs and cells
- Better introduction of substances into the cells
Faculty of Cryodent
The Faculty of Cryodent first introduced cryotherapy, which is commonly used by dermatologists to alter skin structures, into dentistry for the treatment of gingival disease in 2005. So far, results are available for treatment of periodontitis, gingivitis and periimplantitis.
A special device, the CD-1, has been developed and CE certified for this treatment, which is able to generate a temperature of -40°C on the gingiva and is simultaneously suitable for treatment inside the oral cavity. Inflamed gingiva is cooled, and thus destroyed and new, firm gingiva builds up. At the same time, the cold shock disrupts bacterial communication and long-term results can be achieved with this procedure.
The CD-1 device is available for further national and international distribution. Besides collecting and evaluating user observations, the Faculty of Cryodent is engaged in preparing university studies.
