Patient information about MesoLift

Skin rejuvenation for fresh, youthful and firm skin

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure with a history of more than 50 years, which means that it has a highly regarded experience.

It first became known for its successful use in pain therapy.

Recently it has been gaining more and more recognition among patients and doctors for her success in aesthetic medicine. It can be combined with other aesthetic procedures and shows both immediate and long-term effects.

What happens during mesotherapy with Meso-Lift?

In the middle (meso) skin layer, injections with skin-regenerating active substances such as hyaluronic acid, a body’s own substance with a high water binding capacity, or vitamins, minerals and amino acids are injected. These ensure revitalisation and thus tightening of the skin and make it look radiant and younger again.

A low penetration depth with microfine needles in combination with a special device – the mesogun – (for treatment of larger areas) – reduces the injection pain to such an extent that superficial anesthesia is only necessary for patients who are particularly sensitive to pain.

Mesotherapeutic treatment takes place on an outpatient basis and usually lasts no longer than 30 minutes. After completion of the treatment, a sterile facial mask and a protective cream is applied and the patient has virtually no downtime.

A great advantage of this procedure is that it is gentle on the skin and therefore represents a low stress factor for the body, as it works with a low injection depth and low doses of active ingredients. Mesolift is particularly suitable if the wrinkles are still very weak. Also facial regions whose skin is very thin, such as around the eyes, neck, décolleté and the back of the hand, can be excellently treated with Mesolift. Further areas of application are: skin damaged by the sun bed and a generally pale or coarse-pored skin appearance.

For a long-term effect, a treatment series of 4-6 sessions at intervals of a few weeks is recommended.

The method is considered safe and low-risk. There may be slight redness and swelling in the treated areas. These usually disappear within a few hours. Minor bruising as a result of the injection is possible, but heals quickly.

Allergy sufferers should first be tested for the substances to be used.

For an individual, patient-friendly execution of the treatment the previous comprehensive explanation of the patient is a necessary condition.
