Setting up and organising a private hair consultation

This specialized training course was developed by Dr. Hans-Georg Dauer and Dr. Michael Weidmann – based on their multi-part series of specialist articles in cosmetic medicine.

The background: The demand for sound diagnostics and effective treatment for hair loss has risen sharply over the last ten years. Many patients are suffering a great deal and are willing to invest in effective treatments.

The network identified the potential of the interventional therapies MesoHair and PRP at an early stage – initially used primarily for women. However, there is now a clear trend: men are also increasingly seeking help, often even preventively, e.g. through mesotherapy, to counteract genetic hair loss at an early stage.

Contents of the training:

This training course provides practical knowledge on how to successfully set up and run a hair consultation – including modern treatment options:

• Structure of the hair consultation (organizational, equipment, personnel)
• Causes and forms of hair loss
• Medical history and differential diagnosis
• Creation of individual therapy plans
• Drug treatment options
• Injection of active ingredients through mesotherapy, PRP, needling (incl. practical demos)
• Combination therapies & therapy gradations
• Prevention of hereditary hair loss
• Individualized therapy concepts depending on severity
• Introduction of new therapeutic components, e.g. exosomes and siRNA-based cosmetics to inhibit androgen receptors
• Billing according to GOÄ, cost overview for patients
