| Maintenance | The compressor should be serviced 1-2 times a year. Maintenance consists of relieving the pressure. Then unscrew the screw located under the compressor. The moisture in the air causes some water to collect in the compressor. This does not impair functionality. However, because the housing is made of metal, the water can rust through the compressor if it is not removed. |

| How a compressor works | Pressure is built up in the compressor. Our compressor can build up to 6 bar pressure. However, a regulator limits the delivered pressure to a maximum of 5 bar, as this is specified for the DERMATIC® 1. If the pressure falls below a certain limit, the motor switches on and regulates the pressure upwards again, pumping air back into the system. |
