Part 1: Communication in the medical profession – key competence for doctors and alternative practitioners

In many practices, there is still a misconception that communication is an add-on to the actual treatment. However, it is a central component of every therapeutic and medical activity. Whether diagnosis, consultation or support – the success of a treatment stands and falls with the quality of communication.

In this course, doctors, naturopaths and other healthcare professionals learn how communication works on different levels. The lecturer explains in a practical way:

• which communication channels and models play a role in everyday medical practice,
• which media can be used sensibly,
• how to communicate successfully with different target groups – e.g. with patients, team members, authorities or external service providers,
• and how you can exert a positive influence outside the patient relationship through conscious communication.

Part 2: Improving communication in a targeted way – with NLP

In the second part of the course, you will learn methods of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). These practice-oriented techniques help you to reflect on and improve your own communication culture in a targeted manner. Particularly relevant: dealing with the topic of selling medical services in a trusting and professional manner.

Part 3: Practical cases and concrete application

The content is deepened using selected case studies from everyday working life. This enables direct transfer to your own practice – for more confidence, empathy and clarity in communication.
