The needling procedure
Micro-needling has become a successful trend in the anti-ageing sector. The areas of application for this procedure are diverse and the results are impressive.
Treatment and effect
The skin is treated with a roller covered with ultra-fine surgical steel needles. These penetrate the keratinised outer layer of skin and remove dead cells. The resulting mechanical stimulation encourages the skin tissue to produce collagen. This process is described as regenerative wound healing.
The result: skin tension is smoothed, irregularities are reduced, and elasticity, moisture levels and blood circulation in the skin are measurably improved. Valuable skincare and anti-ageing products are absorbed more quickly and intensively by the skin, allowing them to develop their full effectiveness.
Areas of application for micro-needling
Skin tightening in general:
Can be used on both the face and body for all types of unwanted excess skin. Excellent results can also be achieved in combination with injection lipolysis or mesotherapy.
Stretch marks:
One of the most difficult indications to treat. However, stimulating collagen production can achieve a significant improvement. Here too, combining this treatment with injection lipolysis or mesotherapy is advisable.
