Photographic documentation in aesthetic medicine
Video workshop for standardised and legally compliant treatment documentation
Speaker: Dirk Brandl, certified photo engineer and expert in medical imaging standards
Legally compliant documentation of before and after photos in aesthetic medicine
Inconsistent before-and-after photos are a quality and liability risk in many practices. A lack of standards in lighting, perspective and image cropping make results difficult to compare and weaken the external image. Structured medical photo documentation ensures reproducible images, clear treatment processes and greater trust among patients.
Here is a short video introduction:
Technical standards for reproducible practice photos
The video workshop shows how professional practice photos can be taken without a studio or expensive equipment. It provides fixed guidelines for camera position, lighting, background and patient positioning, as well as a simple workflow for everyday practice. The aim is to produce consistent before-and-after images that deliver consistent quality regardless of the staff involved and provide legally compliant documentation.
