Botulinum toxin basic course – advanced training for doctors
CME-certified course on the treatment of facial expression lines
(including hands-on training)
You can find the upcoming course dates and the relevant registration documents in our schedule overview.
Why botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin is one of the most effective and commonly used procedures in aesthetic medicine. Expression lines can be treated in a targeted manner without surgery and with manageable risks – provided that the anatomy, dosage and injection technique are correct.
This is exactly where our basic course comes in. You will learn how to use botulinum toxin safely and professionally, understand treatment decisions and avoid typical mistakes. The focus is not on quick effects, but on a sound medical foundation for natural results and long-term application safety.
Contents of the training course
The course combines sound theory with clearly structured practical units. The content is deliberately practical and geared towards everyday medical practice:
- Basics of botulinum toxin, preparations and unit conversion
- Indications in the upper and lower half of the face
- Injection techniques for classic treatment areas
- Basic aesthetic principles and facial analysis
- Safety, contraindications and dealing with side effects
The practical part begins with tried-and-tested standard areas such as the glabella, forehead and eye area. This allows you to gain confidence step by step without feeling overwhelmed.
What sets our basic course apart
Many training courses focus primarily on imparting knowledge – we place greater emphasis on understanding and confident application. The basic course is deliberately designed to be practical and takes place in small groups, leaving plenty of time for questions and individual support.
Our lecturers have many years of experience in aesthetic medicine and will closely supervise you during your first injections. The focus is not on quick results, but on clean technique, realistic indications and a sound medical approach.
The training course is designed to be independent of any particular company and focuses on what actually works in everyday practice. The aim is to provide you with a reliable foundation on which you can build your professional skills and responsibility.
Meaningful combination
The basic course on botulinum toxin can be ideally combined with the basic course on hyaluronic acid fillers. Both procedures complement each other well and provide you with a structured introduction to aesthetic wrinkle treatment.
