Memphosan – PPC for oral use

There is a great deal of confusion in this area: there is phosphatidylcholine, polyenylphosphatidylcholine (PPC), dilinoleoylphosphatidylcholine (DLPC), lecithin, phospholipids and essential phospholipids. All these terms describe a whole group of phosphatidylcholines, which can differ considerably in their purity, concentration and molecular composition and therefore also in their raw material price. For example, some manufacturers advertise that their phosphatidylcholine is not extracted from soybeans but from sunflowers. However, the fact is that the most effective phosphatidylcholine is PPC. PPC can only be obtained from the soybean. PPC is actually a whole combination of different phosphatidylcholines. The quantitatively and qualitatively most important of this group is DLPC. PPC consists of approx. 40% DLPC.

We are working here at the level of our cells. Every cell has a membrane that protects it from the extracellular matrix (the cell's environment). A cell cannot survive without a membrane. The membrane of every cell consists of proteins, enzymes, cholesterol and - unsurprisingly - phosphatidylcholine, and up to 70 % of the membrane is made of phosphatidylcholine. Incidentally, the mitochondria, the power plants of our cells that produce the energy we need, also have a membrane, in fact they even have a double membrane. This also consists of phosphatidylcholine. The DLPC infiltrates each membrane. This makes the membrane more flexible and fluid again. The membranes of the cells age with increasing age, they become firm and rigid. The substances that our cells need no longer get into the cell so easily, and the waste that the cells produce during their work no longer gets out of the cells so easily. DLPC therefore rejuvenates the membranes and improves the activity of the cells.

We can regard our body as a very intelligent system, as it has evolved to do so over more than a million years. Its main intelligence is to ensure our survival as well as possible. In the past, the body was seen as a machine. Today we see it very differently. Back then, for example, the mind was completely forgotten or separated from the body. But body and mind are just two sides of the same coin, they are inextricably linked. The intelligence of our cells consists of always causing as little damage as possible to the entire system. This means that we get older and as we age, some parts of the "machine" fail, we develop infirmities and chronic illnesses. Our modern way of life is associated with much more stress. Added to this is often an unhealthy diet, too little exercise and often a glass or two of alcohol to relax. Our organism reacts to this in the most gentle way for the body, by shutting down or switching off a few cogs. Incidentally, DLPC is a molecule that our body produces itself in small quantities. With increasing age, however, we need more than the body can produce itself without too much energy expenditure. Cell membrane rejuvenation can compensate for many diseases and help us to regain a level that helps us to maintain many of the functions associated with our membranes.

In fact, everything is linked to the proper functioning of the cells. Nevertheless, DLPC should not be regarded as a miracle cure. Modern medicine has developed more or less successful drugs for many chronic diseases. Take statins, for example, which are available as a therapy for atherosclerosis. They help many people to live with this disease. But they also have side effects that reduce the quality of life. This is why it is important to take DLPC as a supplement: it reduces the damage caused by medication because it helps the liver to break down toxins and has been shown to positively support many aspects of our lipid metabolism, e.g. it incorporates itself into the HDL particles that remove cholesterol. We recommend Memphosan as a dietary supplement for many chronic diseases such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, atherosclerosis and lipometabolic disorders, diabetes, liver intoxication, renal insufficiency, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, to name just a few chronic diseases. Studies have shown that DLPC has a positive effect in all these clinical pictures when used as a supplement. Sometimes the dosages of the medication used can even be reduced in consultation with the treating physicians.

That is the good thing about DLPC/PPC. Virtually no side effects are known in the literature. However, it is of course possible that an individual organism may react with hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, which can never be ruled out. Although soy proteins are no longer contained and allergic reactions to soy can therefore be ruled out, there is a theory in energy medicine that our body can also absorb information. A reaction is therefore conceivable. In very rare cases, a change in normal stools has been observed, either in the direction of thinner or harder stools. If the stool does not return to normal after one week, Memphosan should be discontinued.

Memphosan has been highly purified to 92-96%. The small remainder is water and soybean oil. The PC was then combined with medium-chain triglycerides to get it into the capsules.
Phytoestrogens are 100% excluded, not even traces.

From the literature and decades of marketing of highly unsaturated phosphatidylcholines from soybeans, there is no evidence of an increased, hormone-dependent cancer risk.

We have no salicylates in Memphosan (see highest purification on PPC).
For filling reasons, we have medium-chain triglycerides of unknown origin in the soft gelatine capsules, but their quantity is so small that they have no relevant physiological effect.

The soybeans come from the USA. Previous comparisons with soy from other countries/areas such as Asia and Latin America have shown that the best quality comes from the USA. Probably residue-free, as the USA is very strict. The bovine gelatine comes from grazing animals.

Crude soybean oil is produced from non-genetically modified soybeans by treatment with hexane. Water is used to separate a lecithin sludge (aqueous lecithin mixture), which is dried to produce standard lecithin. Treatment of this lecithin with acetone results in deoiled lecithin. Subsequent extraction with ethanol leads to an ethanolic, soluble lecithin fraction with enriched phosphatidylcholine.
The decisive subsequent processes are two column chromatographic purification processes, at the end of which highly purified polyenylphosphatidylcholine (PPC) is obtained. This end product consists of 92-96% PPC, max. 3% other polar lipids, max. 3% residual soybean oil and about 1% moisture. The main component in PPC is 1,2-dilinoleoylphosphatidylcholine, which is also present in trace amounts in the body.
There are no soybean protein residues, no aluminum or nitrates from wherever in the final product.

We do not want to go into the specific product here, because what we want to explain basically applies to all products.
We differentiate between PC = phosphatidyylcholine and PPC = polyenylphosphatidylcholine.
The product Memphosan formulated by Prof. Gundermann contains only highly purified PPC. PPC has a very high proportion of DLPC = delinoleoyl-phosphatidylcholine. I know it sounds a bit difficult, but DLPC is the main active ingredient in the cell renewal therapy to which we are committed. DLPC incorporates itself into every cell membrane and makes it flexible, fluid and permeable again.
PPC and DLPC are only contained in very small traces in products in Europe. There is only 1 product in the USA that contains the same amount of active ingredient.
PC is only a generic term for phospholipids, and these can vary greatly depending on their use. They are used as emulsifiers in margarine or lubricating oil and in many other areas. Only the high-quality PPC molecule combinations obtained from soybeans are therapeutically effective.
As far as liposomes are concerned: PPCs are liposomal. Liposomes are capsules that can transport active ingredients through the skin, that is their actual function.
