Memphosan
Food supplement with PPC to rejuvenate the cell membrane
What is PPC?
PPC, short for polyenylphosphatidylcholine, is a special combination of various highly pure phosphatidylcholine molecules – also known as highly enriched lecithins. These are obtained exclusively from soybeans, but no longer contain soy proteins. The main component in PPC is dilinoleoyl-phosphatidylcholine (DLPC), a particularly effective phosphatidylcholine. Even if the body produces small amounts of these substances itself, this is often not enough – especially in old age or in the case of health problems.
How does PPC affect cell membranes?
Phosphatidylcholine is a central component of the cell membrane – the envelope that surrounds every cell in the body. The membranes of the mitochondria (“power plants” of the cells) also consist of phosphatidylcholine. PPC can help to make these membranes more flexible and permeable. This allows vital nutrients to be better absorbed and waste products to be excreted more efficiently. Cell membranes also regulate cell activity via certain proteins. A healthy cell membrane is therefore crucial for vitality and cell function.

Why PPC is particularly important in old age or with chronic illnesses
Cell membranes lose flexibility with increasing age. This can disrupt cell supply and disposal and have a negative effect on almost all chronic diseases. PPC is therefore used as a supportive (adjuvant) treatment for:
- 🍃 Diabetes
- 🍃 Coronary heart disease
- 🍃 Fatty liver (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)
- 🍃 Kidney diseases
- 🍃 Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease
- 🍃 Liver poisoning due to medication
PPC can also have a positive influence on cell metabolism in cases of burnout, stress or other environmental stressors.
Application and dosage of Memphosan
For daily prevention, we recommend taking 2×1 capsule daily (450 mg PPC each). For acute symptoms, the dosage can be increased to 2×2 capsules daily.
